Terms of Service
Effective 24 July 2026
FlightBrief is an advisory tool only. It does not replace official flight-planning sources, your operator's procedures, aircraft manuals, or the authority and responsibility of the pilot in command. Always verify every figure against authoritative sources before flight.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FlightBrief (the "Service"), operated by Alexma ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, ticking the acknowledgement at sign-up, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What FlightBrief is
FlightBrief helps pilots prepare for a flight by reading an Operational Flight Plan (OFP), retrieving weather, NOTAM and related information from third-party providers, cross-checking planned landing mass against aircraft performance data, and presenting an advisory Go / Caution / No-Go summary and a passenger-facing companion card. It is a decision-support aid — nothing more.
2. Advisory only — you remain responsible
Every output of the Service is provided for information purposes only and is not authoritative. The Service is not an approved source of aeronautical information, is not a flight-planning, dispatch, performance or navigation system, and is not certified for operational use.
- The pilot in command retains full and sole authority and responsibility for the flight, including all planning, fuel, performance, weather and go/no-go decisions.
- The Service does not replaceofficial meteorological and NOTAM briefings, your operator's Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures, the Aircraft Flight Manual, aircraft performance and loading manuals, MEL/CDL, air traffic control, dispatch, or applicable regulations. Where FlightBrief and any of those sources differ, those sources govern.
- You must independently verify all information against authoritative sources before relying on it. You must not use FlightBrief as your sole or primary source for any operational decision.
3. Third-party data
The Service depends on data delivered by third parties, including (without limitation) weather, NOTAM, SIGMET, ADS-B and aircraft-performance providers, and artificial-intelligence services used to read OFPs and generate summaries. This data is delivered "as is", may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate, and is outside our control. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, timeliness or availability, and inclusion of any third-party data does not constitute an official briefing.
4. No warranty
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available"basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any output is correct or suitable for any purpose.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or for any damages arising from or related to your use of, or reliance on, the Service or any output or third-party data — including any operational, safety, financial or regulatory consequence. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
6. Acceptable use
- You will use the Service only as a supplementary aid and in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and your operator's procedures.
- You will keep your account credentials secure and are responsible for activity under your account.
- You will not misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, exceed usage limits by circumvention, or upload unlawful content.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter or upload (including OFPs and aircraft limits).
7. Accounts, plans and billing
Some features require an account and a paid plan. Plans may include monthly briefing limits (for example, a capped number of briefings per calendar month). Airline licenses are provided under separate arrangements and, where issued, are granted per pilot on a single-use basis. Fees, limits and features are as described at sign-up or on our pricing page and may change on reasonable notice. Paid amounts are non-refundable except where required by law.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and content (excluding your data and third-party data), is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. You retain ownership of the data you submit; you grant us the rights needed to operate the Service for you.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where necessary to protect the Service or comply with law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 2–5, 8 and 10) will survive.
10. Changes
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by reasonable means; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, and the courts of Denmark have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you.
